A Bangladeshi man, Atikur, is fighting to reclaim his elephant, Chandratara, who wandered into India. The elephant crossed into Tripura and is now in the custody of forest officials after ownership disputes arose. Atikur has provided documentation and hopes for a legal resolution to reunite with Chandratara. The case is set to be heard on January 21.
