8 extrajudicial killings in first 52 days of Bangladesh interim govt

Odhikar, a Bangladeshi human rights organization, reports eight extrajudicial killings following the interim government's rise to power on August 8. Their July-September report also documents 52 deaths and 1,308 injuries from political violence, including 31 lynchings, between August 9 and September 30. These figures follow the student-led uprising that resulted in 1,581 deaths and over 18,000 injuries.
