Mohanlal quits as president of Kerala actors' body, executive panel dissolved

Mohanlal resigned as president of AMMA, with the executive committee dissolved following the fallout from the Justice K Hema committee report on women's exploitation and #MeToo allegations. A new leadership will be elected in two months. Actor Siddique also resigned as general secretary over a rape accusation.
