Genocide plaint against Hasina in crimes tribunal

A father, whose son was killed during police firing on August 5, filed a complaint with Bangladesh's International Crimes Tribunal against former PM Sheikh Hasina and eight others. The complaint accuses them of crimes against humanity and genocide. The boy, Alif Ahmed Siam, succumbed to his injuries on August 7. The tribunal was established for crimes under international law.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
