'Investments by our funds not part of $100 bn FDI pledge'

Norwegian minister of trade and industry, Jan Christian Vestre, announced on Sunday that Norway's sovereign and climate funds will contribute additional investments beyond the $100 billion committed for foreign direct investment in India as part of the trade deal with the four EFTA nations. Up until now, these funds have already invested approximately $25 billion, with a significant portion, around $17 billion, originating from the world's largest sovereign wealth fund.
