Industrial growth slows to 3.8% in Jan

Retail inflation remained unchanged in Feb but food and beverages prices inched up, while non-food items eased during the month. SData released by the National Statistical Office (NSO) on Tuesday showed retail inflation remained unchanged at 5.1% in Feb but below the 6.4% recorded in Feb last year. Rural inflation was higher at 5.3% while urban was at 4.8%.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
