Count existing investments as incentives, say German car companies

German and other multinational companies are expressing concerns over the government's new incentive program aimed at boosting investments in electric vehicle manufacturing. They fear a lack of fair competition as special import duty rates are set to be provided only to new players, excluding existing companies. German automakers like BMW, Volkswagen, and Mercedes-Benz are deliberating their stance on the issue.
