Centre suggests ban on Rottweiler, Pitbull

​​​On the back of several instances of deaths due to attacks by ferocious dogs, the Centre has sought a ban on import, breeding, and sale of several "ferocious" breeds such as Rottweiler, Pitbull, Terrier, Wolf Dogs and Mastiffs as pet dogs or for other purposes as they are "dangerous for human life".

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
