SC lets Pawar Sr's NCP faction bear his name

The Supreme Court directed that the Election Commission's interim order granting the name ‘Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar' for Sharad Pawar's faction would continue till further orders. Ajit Pawar's faction opposes interim relief, claiming that Sharad Pawar would have to obey Ajit Pawar's whip. Abhishek Manu Singhvi argues for Sharad Pawar, while Mukul Rohatgi represents Ajit Pawar in the symbol dispute.
