Sandeshkhali villagers file 73 complaints at police camp

Trinamool Congress has announced an investigation into complaints against fugitive party leader Sheikh Shahjahan and has removed his brother Sheikh Sirajuddin Akhtar as the Sandeshkhali anchal president. This decision comes after three consecutive days of protests in Bermajur, North 24 Parganas' Sandeshkhali, led by women. The complaints against Siraj predominantly involve allegations of land grabbing.
