India-SL-Maldives drill kicks off as Chinese vessel docks near Male

The Chinese research ship, 'Xiang Yang Hong 03', arrived near Maldives after spending a month in the Indian Ocean. India expressed concern about the ship's movement in the Indian Ocean. The ship was moored near Thilafushi and was not allowed to dock at Colombo port. It spent a month near Maldives' Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
