Kota student hangs self, note says ‘last option’

An 18-year-old JEE aspirant in Kota hanged herself on the eve of the exam, becoming the second such suicide in a week. The purported suicide note mentioned the pressure of exam preparation. The girl, planning to improve her Class XII scores, was under severe stress. Her father works as an armed guard, and the family had been in Kota for three years.
