Allahabad HC allows survey of Mathura mosque

On Thursday, the Allahabad high court granted approval for an application seeking the establishment of a commission to conduct a court-monitored survey of the Shahi Eidgah mosque premises, located next to the Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura. The court scheduled the next hearing for December 18 to finalize the modalities. This development is part of the high court's oversight of 18 suits related to the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Eidgah dispute, which were transferred from a Mathura court on May 26 of this year.
