7-yr-old boy killed in celebratory firing

A seven-year-old boy was killed and three persons were injured in celebratory firing during a marriage procession at Sishani village. The boy's body was recovered from the bank of the Kachhua river. The accused had buried the boy's body on the bank of the river to mislead the police. Three persons were detained for interrogation in connection with the case. Police are still searching for the injured persons. A police team is camping at the village to avoid any untoward incident. "The search for injured persons is on," the SDPO said.
