'The answer is Modi': Jaishankar credits PM in UK

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the socioeconomic revolution in India over the past decade. During his visit to the UK, Jaishankar highlighted the transformative policies implemented by PM Modi, such as Beti Padhao Beti Bachao, Jandhan Yojana, Awas Yojana, Digital India, Startup India, and Skill India campaigns. He also emphasized the need to reframe the India-UK relationship in light of the changes in both nations and explore new convergences. India and the UK are currently negotiating a Free Trade Agreement.
