Have learnt grassroots work from you, woman sarpanch tells PM

PM Narendra Modi interacted with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, including Balveer Kaur, sarpanch of village Rangpur and a farmer from Arnia in Jammu district. Kaur informed the Prime Minister about availing the benefits of multiple government schemes such as Kisan Credit Card scheme, Farm Machinery Bank Scheme, and Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna. During the interaction, the PM jokingly remarked that Kaur might become the new sarpanch as people were pushing their way to her seating row. Modi congratulated Kaur for owning a tractor purchased through the Kisan Credit Card scheme.
