2 workers killed, one injured as Maoists explode IED near iron mine in Bastar

Two workers were killed and another severely injured in a Maoist IED explosion near the Aamdai Ghati iron ore mine in Narayanpur district of Bastar on Friday. Police say it was a well camouflaged pressure-triggered IED and one of the workers inadvertently stepped on it on their way to work in the morning. The site is near the Maharashtra border, around 300km from Raipur. The deceased have been identified as Ritesh Gagda and Shravan Gagda. Shravan was initially reported missing, but his body was found sometime later.
