Left parties enter fray in three states as talks with ally Congress reach dead-end

Seat-sharing talks between Congress, CPI, and CPM have failed in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh, leading the two Left parties to contest the elections independently. The CPM will contest seats in all three states, while the CPI will contest seats in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and possibly Madhya Pradesh. In Telangana, negotiations are ongoing with the Congress, and a decision on seat-sharing is expected soon. The failure to reach a consensus may impact the INDIA grouping, with the Left parties expressing disappointment and calling for greater coordination and cooperation.
