The White House has stated that the Canadian allegations regarding India's involvement in the killing of a pro-Khalistan leader are "serious" and require a thorough investigation. The US has urged India to actively participate in the investigation and cooperate with Canada. The State Department also emphasized the need for Canada's investigation to proceed and for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.
