UK takes Canada allegations seriously but will continue trade

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau's allegations of Indian government involvement in the killing of a Canadian citizen have put the UK in a difficult position due to its ties with both countries. The UK, part of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance with Canada, expressed concern but said trade negotiations with India would continue. Critics called the UK's response "cowardly" while supporters of a secessionist militant leader sought an investigation into his death.
