Rishi Sunak, Akshata Murty at house of lord, like commons

UK PM Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty spent almost 50 minutes at the temple, offering prayers and doing aarti of Swaminarayan Akshardham, temple authorities said. The British prime minister identifies himself as a "practising Hindu" and took his oath as an MP on the Bhagavad Gita in 2015. He is also known to keep a Ganesha idol on his table. The Sunak family regularly visits the Vedic Hindu Society Temple at Southampton that his grandfather set up in the 1970s.
