Hyd's AI firms are breaking the gender mould

Hyderabad is making progress in breaking the male-dominated tech industry, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Currently, 22% of AI professionals worldwide are women, but in Hyderabad, this figure is 25%. Many of these women-led startups have received private funding or support from the Telangana Artificial Intelligence Mission. The city has around 140 AI startups, with 30 of them founded by women entrepreneurs. These startups are using AI platforms to provide solutions in various sectors, such as retail and food security. The success of these women AI entrepreneurs in Hyderabad is gaining recognition globally.
