Cop arrests son for gang-rape of Raipur sisters, seeks transfer

One of the ten men suspected of gang-raping two sisters in Raipur last week is the son of a police officer assigned to the station investigating the case. In fact, it was the father, ASI Deepak Sahu, who arrested his son, Krishna, and immediately applied for a transfer.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
