SC seeks Maha speaker’s reply to disqualification pleas

The Supreme Court on Friday sought the Maharashtra Speaker’s response within two weeks to a petition filed by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sunil Prabhu alleging that there was no progress in adjudication of the disqualification petitions against CM Eknath Shinde and 38 other rebel MLAs pending for more than one year.
