119 Char Dham pilgrims dead in 45 days since yatra began

As many as 119 pilgrims from across the country lost their lives due to harsh climatic conditions, tough terrain and co-morbid illnesses in the first 45 days of Char Dham yatra in Uttarakhand since it commenced on April 22. While around 20 lakh pilgrims have visited the shrines, nearly 2.1 lakh have received treatment provided by the health department.
