Denied leave, guard sets bank manager on fire

The security guard of the State Bank of India branch in Dharchula, an ex-serviceman, tried to burn the bank's manager alive by pouring petrol on him and lighting a match. Manager Mohammad Owase (55) had been transferred to Dharchula from Delhi around a year and a half back.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
