Bandra-Versova Sea Link to be named after Veer Savarkar

CM Eknath Shinde on Sunday announced that the under-construction Bandra-Versova Sea Link will be named after Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. Earlier this month, CM Shinde announced that Mumbai Coastal Road will be named after Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The move is being seen as an attempt by the Shinde-Fadnavis government to woo Maharashtrian voters ahead of the local body polls and next year's assembly polls.
