Sena symbol verdict: EC a slave of Centre, democracy in danger, will move SC, Uddhav says

Declaring the EC a "slave of the Centre" and that its decision was "dangerous for democracy", Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray said his party would approach the Supreme Court to challenge it. "We will approach the SC. We have faith in the SC. In fact, we had argued in court that the EC should not give its decision on the party symbol until the case on the disqualification petitions is decided," Uddhav said.
