Rare interstate kidney swap in 2 Hyderabad hospitals

Little did chronic kidney disease patients, Sandeep Bhatnagar (51), a school principal in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and C G Hanumanthu, a civil contractor from Mahabubnagar in Telangana, know that their fates were intertwined. They underwent a rare interstate, inter-hospital swap transplant (donors are interchanged and matched with recipients) that was recently done by a team of doctors across two hospitals in Hyderabad.
