Tunisha wasn’t taking medicines for depression, say police

Film and TV actor Tunisha Sharma, who allegedly died by suicide on the sets of her serial in Vasai on December 24, was not taking any medication for depression, police said. Tunisha had in interviews opened up about her fight with depression. Her lead co-star in the serial ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’, Sheezan Khan (28), was arrested on Sunday for abetment to suicide after Tunisha’s mother Vanita blamed him for her death.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
