PM Modi visits ailing mother in Ahmedabad hospital

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met his mother Heeraba, who was admitted to UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre in Ahmedabad following health complications early Wednesday. Modi arrived from Delhi at 2.45 pm and went straight to the hospital. He was accompanied by Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, BJP state president CR Paatil, several ministers and MLAs. After spending about one-and-a-half hours with her and the attending team of doctors, he returned to the state capital.
