Maha govt rolls back award for Kobad memoir

Less than a week after announcing a literary award for the Marathi translation of former Maoist leader Kobad Ghandy’s memoir, ‘Fractured Freedom’, the state government on Monday reversed the decision and scrapped the award’s scrutiny committee.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
