Javelin pierces boy's neck during sports meet in school

A javelin pierced the neck of a class IX student during the annual sports meet at a school in Odisha's Balangir district on Saturday. Fortunately, there was no internal injury and the boy is recovering after an operation. The incident took place when 14-year-old Sadananda Meher was watching the practice session of javelin throw at the playground of Boys' High School, Agalpur.
