Arijit Singh’s Kolkata concert cancelled? Political row kicks up social media storm

The cancellation of Arijit Singh’s much-awaited Kolkata concert at Eco Park has kicked up a social media storm and a fresh political controversy throughout West Bengal. The live performance was scheduled to take place on February 18. However, a Bharatiya Janata Party leader has alleged that the show has been cancelled because Arijit sang the popular Bollywood song ‘Gerua’ at the opening ceremony of KIFF.
