Char Dham yatra ends with closing of Badrinath shrine

As portals of the Badrinath shrine, last of the four Char Dham temples to close for this year, were shut for a six-month winter break on Saturday afternoon, the annual Char Dham Yatra to the four Himalayan shrines of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri came to an end for this season.
