Sonia Gandhi bids goodbye to Congress party chief's role after 22 years

At the party function where Kharge was inaugurated as the Congress president, the first non-Gandhi chief in 24 years, AICC passed a resolution showering praises on Sonia for her contributions - lifting the party in bad times and for giving the country a leadership that resulted in landmark decisions on social welfare and ushered in systemic transparency during the UPA governments.
