Join 'shakhas' for nation building: Bhagwat to Valmikis

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday appealed to Valmikis - a Dalit subcaste -- to join its 'shakhas' and get in touch with 'swayamsewaks' (voluinteers) for contributing their bit towards nation building. He also observed that the 'varna' and the 'caste system' "were things of the past" and "needed to be forgotten".

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
