UK: After Leicester, religious violence spreads to Birmingham

Communal tensions, which had reached a flash point in Leicester, have now spread to Birmingham after a mob of hundreds of angry Muslim men descended on a tiny Hindu temple west of the city on Tuesday night. Some of them were angry that the Durga Bhawan Hindu Centre in Smethwick had invited Sadhvi Rithambara, founder of Param Shakti Peeth and Vatsalyagram, to speak there, even though her event was cancelled last week.
