Liquor co MD held in excise probe

A day after CBI arrested influential AAP functionary Vijay Nair, ED on Wednesday arrested the MD of a Delhi-based liquor company, raising the prospect of central agencies moving closer to state government functionaries in connection with the probe into the alleged corruption in the now-junked liquor policy.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
