First arrest in excise probe: Vijay Nair held

Making the first arrest in the alleged excise policy scam, the CBI on Tuesday arrested Vijay Nair, former CEO of an event management company, Only Much Louder, and named as accused number 5 in the FIR registered by the agency.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
