10k suicides in India in 2021 linked to abuse of drugs & alcohol

Deaths by suicide attributed to drug abuse and alcohol addiction breached the 10,000 mark for the first time in 2021, with more than one such death reported every hour on an average.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
