Police detain MLA again, T'gana moves HC against order freeing him

Two days after he was arrested for making derogatory remarks against the Prophet in a video, the now suspended BJP MLA T Raja Singh was detained under Preventive Detention (PD) Act on Thursday and sent to jail for trying to disrupt “peace and public tranquillity”.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
