CJI Ramana’s last collegium meeting ends in stalemate

CJI N V Ramana-led collegium’s last meeting on Thursday ended without transacting any business but the CJI would take pride in appointing three women judges to the Supreme Court, one among whom would go on to create history by becoming the first woman CJI in 2027.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
