Centre must restrain Ramdev from making false claims: SC

The Supreme Court on Tuesday told the Centre that Baba Ramdev and his ayurveda venture Patanajali must be restrained from making false claims about curing incurable diseases and publishing ads disparaging the allopathy system of medicine and doctors. "Ramdev should not criticise other medicine systems and accuse allopathic doctors as killers. This is impermissible," the SC said.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
