Kerala reports India’s first monkeypox case

While in the UAE, the patient was in close contact with a person who tested positive for the disease. Kerala health minister Veena George said the patient had been in close contact with his parents, a taxi driver and an autorickshaw driver. Besides, 11 of his co-passengers in the flight to Kerala and the cabin crew were also being considered as his close contacts.
