England, who had started Day 3 proceedings at 84/5, were bowled out for 284, giving India a sizeable lead of 132 despite a counter-attacking hundred by Jonny Bairstow (106). England then reduced India to 75/3, after which Pujara (50*) and Pant (30*) took the visitors' lead to 257 at stumps.
