Curtains come down on campaign for UP

The curtains came down on BJP’s election campaign on Saturday for the last phase of the UP assembly polls with PM Narendra Modi addressing a rally in Khajuri area, in Varanasi’s Sevapuri assembly constituency, where he lashed out at “pariwarwadis (dynasts)” for criticising projects undertaken in “national interest”.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
