Mint staffer of 33 yrs to face trial over Rs 40 theft

A 55-year-old bullion accountant working with the Mint for 33 years will stand trial for theft of Rs 40, after two coins of Rs 20 each, stolen from the facility were allegedly found in his personal locker in 2020.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
