Sidhu slams sops offered ahead of polls

PPCC president Navjot Singh Sidhu on Wednesday said poll sops would empty the state exchequer, even as both the AAP and his own party seem to be in a race to make lofty announcements ahead of the 2022 assembly elections. Sidhu’s statement comes a day after AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal praised him for raising people-centric issues and claimed that Congress was trying to supress his (Sidhu) voice.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
