Over 50% Indians don’t want cryptocurrencies legalised

A survey showed that 54% don’t want the government to legalize cryptocurrencies but instead to tax them like a digital asset held in a foreign country while 76% want cryptocurrency ads to be put on hold till there is regulatory clarity. Over one in two Indians want RBI to roll out India’s own digital currency , according to an opinion poll by LocalCircles.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
